Seat's Yeti competitor - quite a wait yet.

Featured Replies

Looking forward to this one as well as the 4wd Leon ST. :)

TBH, that picture could be any current SUV blurred out.

AWD Leon you say? :)

"Raab revealed that next year it will launch a specialised 4x4 version of the Leon ST - badged as the ST 'X-perience' - its billed as a high-spec Audi allroad variant that will have a big impact in Alpine countries in Central Europe, with a significantly raised ride height, plastic underbody protection and a luxuriously trimmed interior." Supposed to be coming to the UK market now but we'll see :)

Late arrival to the party - It will have to be seriously decent to take sales from cashcow & yeti

I sincerely hope mark 2 Yeti doesn't look like that!!

Nah, being a Seat, it'll just have no equipment or sound deadening, rock hard suspension, and a dashboard made from recycled poundland plastic storage boxes and drain pipes. Consequently it'll be phenomenonly cheap and sell like hot cakes. Can you tell I despised the creaking, plastic poverty wagon that was our Ibiza?

I think you're comparing the last generation Seat leon. The new one is as good as the new Octavia pretty much and arguably offers a better drive and better value for money in terms of equipment and drive hence I'm expecting good things from their SUV. :)

Google skoda snowman ;)

It's looking very much like the new Seat SUV will be built at the Czech Skoda factory in Kvasiny alongside the Yeti, so I'd expect good quality equipment and build :-

I just hope this does not mean Yeti build delays when I come to order my next Yeti   .

I'm a big fan of the Seat Altea Freetrack (I know I'm in the minority due to its Marmite looks).

It's an Octavia Scout with the vRS diesel engine.

One of the biggest attractions for me was it's rarity and very cheap price.

I'd have one if the fuel economy was a little better.

So I'm quite interested to see what the new Seat Crossover looks like...

This is a pretty big clue what you'll get as a mk2 Yeti I think.

Note to self:

If you really do decide to replace your Roomster with a Yeti, do it before 2016.
