Had my 2009 octavia 1.9 se re mapped by Custom Tuning in Bradford t/a Rolling road, very pleased with results the car is a lot quicker smoother,it pulls like a train, it's like driving another car i cant believe the difference,they saved the original file so any time I want I can have it put back to original, been doing research prior to re map, only thing I was concerned about was the fact I may need to replace clutch a lot sooner with a remap. I did a full scan with my vag com after re map no faults flagged up, this now compliments my other mods done, fitted Columbus sat nav and bluetooth and new trim, cruise control fitted, 4 footwell lights, ash tray light, green cigarette lighter with illuminated ring, number plate LEDs, ( my opinion best to just piggy back originals on top of LEDs you can use any and a cheap mod,interior LEDs and extra boot light , reversing sensors.

I'm considering having mine done, just out of interest how much was the bhp increase?

The dyno sheet was given at 148bhp

Was planning on getting mine done this December but the insurance renewal came through so much cheaper than I expected (£170) that I couldn't stomach the cheapest quote of £315 with a map. Reading your comments I am wondering if I made the wrong choice! :(

Will people please stop posting at how pleased they are with their PD105 remap... it's making me want to get mine done!

Indeed, it's a hard pill to swallow as you have to plod along with the other boxes, there's just no go with a standard PD 105.

Actually I am pleasently surprised by ours. I think the DGS helps a lot. Always in the right gear and the super quick changes helps cut down on the time it takes to get going.

 

Never really felt like it needs more power but that doesn't mean I don't want more. Never not been able to keep up or even beat the general traffic.

 

Oh and my last car was a PD130 Seat Cordoba.
