Cleaning Bluetooth of Phones & Phonebook

Featured Replies

For many reasons I need to start from scratch with my phone set up (don't ask!). If I "delete" the paired phones will that completely clear all the phonebooks so I am starting from a totally clean sheet with no phonebook entries?

Was she worth it?

I believe that what you are proposing to do will achieve what you want.  In my experience, if you delete a paired device and then re-pair it, that device's phone book is downloaded again ie the phone book not preserved when you delete the device pairing.  As far as I know you can't get at another device's phonebook when it's not connected, anyway: you only ever see the phonebook of the connected device.

Bear in mind that you need to have one paired device connected in order to delete the other paired devices.  You can delete the last paired device while it is connected.

Thanks, and freedie there was no one to be worth it for! Basically since I paired a new phone the phonebook has become a real mess with double entries, half entries and some goggldegook, hoping by starting again from a clean start and only pairing my new phone that the problem will resolve itself.

Yeah, yeah, yeah!

My phone has multiple telephone numbers per entry e.g. home. mobile and work. Do these show separately in the phonebook on the Bolero so you can select which number you want to call?

Should do. You see a contact, then expand to see the other entries
