How to find Engine Code?

Featured Replies

As title says, can anyone tell me how I find the engine code for my car? I need a new turbo so need to verify the engine code for the suppliers - Gap Turbos.

it is a 2006 Octavia vRS 2.0PD.

Cheers,

There should be a white sticks in the boot of the car (under the carpet) or in the handbook / service book.

It's on the top right corner of that.

Engine code is last 3 digits in lower line of

larger characters between upper barcodes

and lower smaller option codes.

It is pretty preceded by engine power eg 77KW

Hope this helps.

Thanks guys, boot label was fairly well worn out but the logbook had it nice & clear! :)
