Anyone have vRS lease quotes ?

Featured Replies

As thread title says, have any of you had quotes to take a vRS as a company car ?

The reason I ask is my next car is due in July 2014 and the Octavia is one I would consider. However I do have a limited flexibility budget to work to.

If possible please advise lease costs (inc. vat), if you have it with/without maintenance and lease period. Also an idea of the spec of your car would be good so I know what options I can/cannot get for my budget.

Thanks in advance.

Best quote I received Saturday was this:

Personal lease from

£227.99 incl VAT

per month (24 months)

Initial payment: £1367.93 incl VAT

Meteor gray manual hatch diesel with:

Standard cruise

Amundsen

Black pack

Sunset

Canton

P11d £24877

36 months 30k miles pa

Hire £1056.36

£352pm

Service Maintenance and tyres on top, hire £243 £81pm

Total hire £1299.36 and £433.12pm

Actually that was an older quote, got £1239.54 hire £413.18 pm inc maintenance and tyres in the end

Do you have a copy of the quote that they gave you that you could upload please ? Obviously omit your personal details first ;)

Having worked this out against my deal on 0%PCP there is £1200 of a difference, although I have this amount as added extras so really not much in it for me.

is that £1200 less or more for the PCP deal ?

Less but my extras account for the difference. Take them away and its around the same.

my PCP deal with Skoda, should I take it up, works out at £460 more than leasing over the 3 years so all in all theres not really much in it !

That's about the standard offer Lee, certainly not outstanding.  However, skoda also offer you the option to buy if you decide to, or you'd probably have more equity in your car to put against your new one as they will almost definitely offer you more than the GMV.

Hi folks,

Are these all business lease quotes or personal lease quotes.  Would there be any difference as i need a personal lease?

I have been quoted

35 x £370

30k mile pa

£2350 deposit

panoramic sunroof

sunset

tow bar

heated seats

Are better deals out there before i press the button?

This is through Jet finance

Who are others using?

My example is for personal lease with Target Leasing .... Jet are very competitive and have offered me a good 2 year 10k miles deal @ £775 down then 23 x £259/month including FULL maintenance + £60 fee from Jet themselves, prices include VAT. Their 3 x 35 deal is almost the same as Target but Jet charge the extra £60 fee.... but I cant seem to pin them down on the excess mileage charges ????????

Does a 2 year lease deal normally cost more?

I haven't done any bartering with Jet as the price seemed pretty good

Will give Target a call to see if they can better it

Mileage with Jet is 5.472p per mile inc vat

That full maintenance 2 year deal sounds amazing

Why pay for full maintenance ? Car should only need tyres in first 2 yrs and 1 or 2 services, everything else covered by Skoda warranty. My advice don't take maintenance but put cash in tyre fund !!

cant find any cheaper 3 x 23 deals without maintenance anywhere mate

That does sound quite interesting BUT

your annual cost = £3420

Guy on the Best mkIII VRS deals has got 42x219 with a 3500 deposit so that annual cost = £3628

ie he's only paying an extra £200/year for an estate with options on a PCP, not sure what his mileage limit is

Anyway, bigger question is why on earth would you want a smelly noisy diesel on only 10k miles per year???

That's me with the 42 month at£219 deal mileage is 10000.
