Bolero setting help please

Featured Replies

Hello

Just wondering if anyone can help me setting my screen. I've followed the instructions, ignition on, setup, screen, turn off after ten seconds. It works when I do that but once I turn the car off it forgets the setting and I have to do it again! If I do the same for the lights or the wipers etc it saves the setting. If its a setting that doesn't save then ok but I wonder why.

Cheers in advance.

Do you mean the blank screen function?

It's exactly the same with me. Turn the screen saver thing in and once you turn the car off it forgets. Pain in the backside. Hopefully a wee software update will fix it but only if we complain!

How do the software fixes get installed? Is it done by the dealer or can anyone do it - such as update from an SD card?

Dealer only now, and they have to get authorisation from Skoda, in other words they can't just do it if they want to, the firmware update has to address and fix a known fault.

Best thing you can do is get your dealer to log it on DISS as a fault.

Sent from my phone so please excuse brevity and spelling
