I quiet enjoyed reading some of the comments,

 

I tend to agree with some though, when i bought my vrs i went and had a look at a few and my god there was some knackers about (even 3 years ago) and i think the yellow one is probably one of them,

 

The L&K is ok but that interior is special, sort of wish i had bought one of them instead of vrs as it has more toys but wouldn't have bought a black one and deffo not one with interior that colour,

 

All the issues mentioned with VRS seem to be common ones like breather pipes and coil packs and usually quiet cheap to fix with basic tools,

 

oh and fully agree with badge rage altho prob because i do it on purpose sometimes as the prestige crew hate been smoked by a 13 year old taxi

I have to say I don't agree with ones that said the octavia vrs was ugly,out of all the mk 4 platform cars I think its the best looking and one things for sure it doesn't look like its been reversed into a wall like the leon and golf do.

That's been the most surprising (and most satisfying) thing about owning the vRS - the way people really hate been left for dead by a filthy ten year old car with a (delaminating) Skoda badge on!

Oh dear, it appears GAZ911's eyes are broken because his opinion is wrong....

 

I agree with GAZ - I much prefer the look of the octy to the equivalent golf (a bland blob of mediocrity) and Leon (ok at the front, looks like it's missing a bit at the back).

Have to agree Octy best looking of the bunch much more aggressive looking than the golf even the R32 is a bit girly looking. Leon good from the front but poor rear end. Had a few birds like that.

Yes the golf  looks like a brick and leon looks like somones had a go at the back end with a chainsaw.The only other mk4 platform I like the look of is the  audi s3/a3

That yellow one on PH looked and sounded like a dog. Not for me.

Not to mention the mk4 Golf has the most stupid headlight cluster ever made - I am surprised that loads more are not crashed into given the idiotic positioning of the indicator bulb.

Agree with this early Toledo, also like the Bora, always preferred 4dr saloons over hatches. 

Always really liked the Toledo. then they went and destroyed the back end especially...

 

The Octy has remained a good looking car through all its re designs
