Panel Filter and Exhaust Combo?

Featured Replies

Just wondering what are people's thoughts on a good panel filter that would work nicely with a cat back exhaust system down the road? Due a full service in a few weeks so hoping to swap the normal filter for something else at that time.

Any difference in Pipercross or K&N? Have used K&N previously but read since that they allow too much dust through? What have you guys had success with?

As I mentioned I'd like to get a Cat Back system in at some stage too, have the option of a Milltek Non Res for about €500 or a custom made stainless system for about €300....any opinions?

Go pipercross...the KandN has oil which can damage the maf sensor or so I have been told

Why not go for APR Carbonio Intake? I will be fitting that to my VRS TDi.

Carbonio is a nice thought but quite expensive as far as I know. Have you looked into prices at all it where have you found to be the most competitive? Only reason I was choosing a panel filter was to get something in without massive cost and keep the engine cover!
