All the seats where the injectors have pools of oil ? Any ideas ( other than its leaking))

Cam cover leaking? or it's just overspill from when someone's topped up the oil, clean it up and see if it comes back

Yeah it's just had a service but oil looks black rather than clean stuff , do they remove from bottom or top? If its top this could be issue or could the have not closed cap properly as I've just driven 1,000 miles ? , yeah will clean it out top up and re- look after a drive :(

oil's drained from the sump at the bottom, Seb.

But not drained from the bottom when pumped from the top!

via Dip stick pipe.

Then someone careless can splash some burst oil about.

& should be cleaning up after them shelves,

***and some might wipe the old Oil filter absolutely clean, then put a dirty finger mark on the filter to look like it was actually changed.

Brought to you by a Service announcement as taught by a Quik Flit Dancer Chancer.***

(but then the invoice should not show £1.70 charger for a new sump plug.)

eg

He has a hoover handy  for sucking, i wonder why? Maybe just to vacuum the interior!

Yeah George this is the system I've used in the past to empty my sumps, however this was main dealership doing the service , @ lee I'm not a total retard ;) I'm aware tha some dealers empty from the top as it saves having to undo the sump and engine covers, on a closer inspection looks like the cap (filler) was not properly closed at service ?

Looks like this might the perfect time to trade that in for the Fabia vRS you have always wanted ;-)

Haha yeah just pulling your leg on that! I'm happy with ours in as far as it hasn't had any faults or oil use. Doesn't really light my fire in any other way tho. It's mainly used as SWMBO transport and she loves it so can't complain really. :-)

Yeah tom if you've a good one keep it IMO ,

All the head is cleaned up now will top up once engine is cold as I've started her up and checked for leaks

So I've revved the *******s and seems no leaks ? I've topped up to max with oil and will check when I've been out

Could well be a leak from the oil filler neck.

There's a TPI that the dealers should be able to find.

To check yourself, the plastic corrigated pipe on the upper right of the 2nd pic, pull that off and block the rocker cover hole off with a rag or similar.

Grab some soapy water in a spray bottle, start the engine, block the hole up, spray around the filler neck.

If it needs the repair, you'll see bubbles forming around the base of the filler neck.

Just serviced?

Black oil in a recess?

Main dealer service? (oil sucked out through dipstick)

= spilt oil.

At least it'll help prevent the injectors from seizing in.

I think you may be right with this one ! , I've mopped it up and I've done 400 mikes and no oil around the injectors
