Hi does anyone know how to place to tail light lens cover? I bought a full casing & got MOT this Friday & need to replace but don't want to take it to a mechanic as short on cash? But if anyone knows the step procedure on replacing the lens cover can you please help me?

I did this on my MK2 before selling it a while ago, it is a simple follow your nose job.  From memory the rear light cluster lens is only held on by 2 or 3 nuts which are accessed by gently easing back the trim inside the boot.

 

Simply peel back the trim, undo the nuts and the light unit will pull of - replacement is a simple reversal.

You need to make sure you don't drop your nuts though, as they are quite fiddly to get to
