May consider a p/x with a cheap VAG car (£2K - £5K max)

Looking for £15,000

You will struggle to find a higher specced car than this, the price also reflects its mint condition.

Sorry to hijack this thread on your car sale.  That is a great looking car Gizmo68.  I may know someone who is interested in a TT TDi Quattro.  I am not sure what their budget is but I can find out this week.

On another note, not car related, is the first picture from St Margarets Bay Kent, along the coast from Dover.  I walked from that car park to the lighthouse further up the cliff top, South Foreland Lighthouse.  Nice area and views.

Thanks, it certainly is St. Margarets Bay.

I searched high and low to find a decent spec one (most have very few... if any options) then finally travelled to Stoke on Trent for this one.

Gives me a good idea what Dad's 59 plate one is worth this.  Good to see the TT is holding some serious residuals too!  :)

If I have my way the car will be staying (I have already offered her the use of my Superb... but she is petrified that she will damage it :giggle:  )

I also said it would be cheaper than selling them both to buy a nice 4.7 AMV

Hi Gizmo68.  Well done on the harbour swim by the way, too cold for me.

Having seen my work colleague today, everything but the colour is bang on about the car.  "She" has a budget of £20K but she wants white one and I can't change this.  I have tried to the point that your better half's car is much nicer in this colour than white, will hold its resale value better and won't go out of fashion like I think a white one will.  She is stubborn and a white one it has to be.

My biggest issue with my argument is that she knows that I have just bought a Citigo Sport in white :giggle:.  I carried on my argument that I had only a choice of 3 colours including black and I have had a black car before so that really narrow it down to white or red really. :wall:

I will keep my eye out and point them towards Briskoda, mint TT's are very desirable.

Lovely looking example. Have you any photos of the inside Gizmo?

I have a work colleague who might be interested by this - currently musing between a Scirocco and TT, I think!

Thanks for trying... even if she is wrong about a white one  :giggle:

Incidentally I would never had chosen this colour if ordering new .... BUT that would have been wrong because it is both an unusual and gorgeous colour in person on a TT.

We also looked at the Golf, Scirocco and TT, but TBH there was no comparrison after driving all 3.

Here are the photo’s from when I did the OE retro-fits:

Interior LED light pack (footwell lights, LED map lights and red cat vision):

Well anyone who knows SWMBO will be shocked at this..... BUT she is now SERIOUSLY considering a Yeti (subject to a 24hr test drive in a couple of weeks)

So a p/x with a high spec Yeti is a possibility

top of the range Yeti, with 0% finance, &  a 6 month wait  :D

Not sure the 0% is available on the L&K, but got a demo to try when it arrives from the docks.

Told 12 ish weeks for a new one..... but I was told that for the Superb and that ended up being 26 weeks.

I was hoping the L&K would have been in this week (due imminently apparently). So it could have had a decent run to the meet.

0% hasn't been available since 31st Dec. 2.5% isn't bad though.

12-16 week current Yeti leadtime.

For those interested I can vouch for this cars condition having seen it in the flesh, its stunning.

Bump

Yeti is due to be built in a couple of weeks, so this needs to go.

That is a cheap car!

Private sales are always a struggle now as not a lot of folks have 15k cash

Most motors are on tick
