My EGR pipe is playing up, causing the car to go on limp mode now and again. I've been quoted £300 to fit and replace the egr pipe. The reading came out as signal too low.

Is it worth deleting the pipe?

Would the engine light stay on once deleted?

What are the pros and cons?

Would I need to remap my car again?

It's Octy VRS TDI - Remapped to 200 bhp, dpf removed.

You can buy the EGR delete pipe from darkside developments, you would need your map updated to ignore the egr otherwise it would keep throwing up an error and possibly limp home mode. I would be tempted to sort out the fault first before getting it deleted. Please post up VCDS scan results.
