Hi I a hoping someone can help me,

 

I am trying to adjust the level of assistance on the power steering on my 2007 Octavia L&K 2.0TDi, I am hoping to make it a bit lighter.

 

I have connected with VCDS, accessing 44- Steering Assistance, then 10-Adaptation.

 

When I try and access 01- it says 'error'.

 

Is this the correct way of changing the steering assistance?

 

Could someone let me know what I actually should be doing? and give me an idea of the process and what I need to be changing.
