Ivor's just done a Christmas 'good deed'

The Photos reminded me of Last of the Summer Wine. :giggle:

That tow rope isn't attached to something inside the Hatchback is it..?

No, I had disconnected it from the towing eye just before I decided to take the photo and the hook end is just laying loose in the boot.  :)

Excellent work. Hope you get a rebate off the council tax now.

Fat chance, but thanks for the suggestion billhook :)

Had a knock at the front door about 11.30am to find a distressed gent from the council parks dept.

Him and a colleague had got their vehicle stick on the mud in the park behind our bungalow.

NO PROBLEM I shouted, as I donned my red cape :giggle:

I drove into the park carefully and reversed down to the area where the council men were, attached out tow rope and took yp the slack.

After a couple of second of wheelspinning Ivor gained traction and WOOOOOHOOOOOO he pulled their vehicle across the rest of the park onto the road.

This was his first 'towing job' and he performed FAULTLESSLY, and the council men were gobsmacked as they didn't think he would be able to do it.

The Yeti is a VERY capable 4x4 towing vehicle.

:sun:

Don't recognise the background but definitely recognise the Brighton And Hove City Council vehicle!

Well Done.

Following up OldStan's link took me to a SpeedSport post.  Another of our Absent Friends?  Last post in August, last here a month later :(
