Just wondering what oil is best for a 1.2 105bhp tsi fabia Monte Carlo?

Why not use the same as in the top up kit the dealer gave you with the car? Mine came with a litre of Castrol Edge Professional Longlife III 5W-30.

 

SAE 5W-30; ACEA C3; VW 504 00/507 00; Porsche C30.

You can put what oil you like as long as it meets vw 502.00 or 504.00 approved

I put in my fabia rs Morris multlife v-max 5w/30 504.00 approved but a lot of people put in castrol edge

5w/30 Full Synthetic,

but if the car has in 5w/40 you use that if you had to top up. No harm is done if you had to top up with the different oil.

 

Use to spec VW 504, not VW 502  if the car is going to be getting serviced Variable/Flexible and as much as 18,000 miles or so before an Oil & Filter change.

 

VW 502 fine if on Fixed Servicing.
