LED tv's and magnets.

Featured Replies

We've now got an LED tv in our bedroom and as there is no aerial socket I'm going to use the one we've used for the last 5 years with our previous tv.

The LED tv is now mounted on a wall and I'm wanting it all to look tidy. The aerial I want use has a magmount base.

I've briefly looked on the internet and they seem to be unaffected by speaker magnets but is there a limit to the magnet strength that will affect the LED tv. If not I'll stick the aerial to the wall bracket.

Anyone in the know here?

should be fine, but your TV is really just a standard LCD set with LED backlighting as opposed to CCFL backlighting.
