And I'm impressed.

Not covered many miles (around 500) but that'll change when I return to work later this week - likely to have added another 3,000 by the end of January.

My only gripe is the headlight washers - waste of time. Otherwise this car is everything I want so far; rapid, comfy and not bad off motorway.

Slightly firmer ride than my old S Max but not uncomfortably so. Getting mid 40's mpg too which for the performance is pretty good.

I'm itching to get it into a friend's unit for a full wheels off clean but that's OCD kicking in and my ulterior motive is to get some gtechniq EXO on it for long term protection and lazy washing in future (already protected the interior fabrics).

Glad I chose this car.

Every time i read one of these posts i start to get impatient thoughts about the long long wait i still have until mine arrives!

Glad your happy with your car though :)

Whats wrong with the Headlight washers?

I've already got the same thoughts about a sealant, and already done a pre-booking at KDSKeltec for a GTechniq detail, expensive but i think it will be worth it...i hope

Sounds promising - I wish mine would hurry up.  What colour did you opt for?  Still nervous on my choice of green, but can't wait to see it in the flesh.

Go on then - I'll ask before someone else does.  What is GTechniq, and what is this about lazy washing?  Anything which helps my lazy streak has got to be worth it....

Had mine now for 3 days... VRS TSI DSG... Got to say the car is amazing, so refined and a major step forward compared to previous model in my opinion. Effortless acceleration in any gear and the DSG gear changes are so much better than the Fabia VRS DSG we traded in. Only downside I can find is the lack of folding mirrors somehow else pointed out on a previous thread...

Race blue diesel estate.

I just find washers pointless - small thing.

Gtechniq is basically a range of long life sealants; I used them on a number of previous cars but not the paint sealants. The glass treatment gave almost 40,000 miles of protection as did the permanent trim restorer - they're brilliant.
