Skoda octavia vrs exhausts

Featured Replies

Hi Just got a skoda octavia vrs fsi and i am looking to but a sports exhaust on it, has anyone fitted a milltek and if so what are they like.

I've ran milltek on my previous mk1 vrs, golf vr6 and will be fitting one to my mk2 in the new year. Never had any issues with them and the fit and quality have always been good with a nice exhaust note.

I've just fitted a milltek cat back non resonated and its pretty boomy but nice. You get used to it and sounds nice under load.

Fit is excellent as it should be for the price!

I also had the non-res milltek initially. Way too boomy and droaned on the motorway, drove me crazy. Switched to the resonated and it's quieter under acceleration but so much nicer when cruising. Have a full turbo-back now with sports cat and it's perfect.

Hi thanks for that sounds like the resonated one would be best for me dont want it to loud.

You'll be happy with that choice mate .

resonated would my choice my work mate has got a non resonated it seems very boomy/droney

Weirdly, I just sold an Impreza Sti with a straight through centre section and huge tailpipe that was very very loud. However, way better when cruising than the non-res milltek!!

Snap ,Ive had all sorts on my subaru but the boom wasn't bad even with full decat and straight through systems fitted.

Must just be the characteristic of the engine
