Good Morning Everyone.

I was just looking on the CYC site for a replacement for my Snow Foam Lance that seems to have packed up...I have taken it to pieces and de scaled it but the `foam` still comes out like skimmed milk!...no matter how I adjust the knobs...

Anyway... while I was looking I noticed this stuff (see title) and wondered if anyone had tried it. I have never actually used Iron. X but have often wondered if I should. This stuff seems to do away with the need for that stage as it incorporates the Iron. X with the snow foam. It does seem rather expensive at £17.90 for a Ltr and its currently out of stock! But I would love to hear from anyone that's used it...good or bad.

As an 'every wash' product, its not what you want Mike

If youre just going to decontaminate the paintwork on an annual/biannual basis, then it will be OK

Ive not used it, but imagine that's its not designed to be used often

I use ironx after Chris recommened it as per above as one of the initial stages of my 6 monthly strip and rewax and it STINKS, but it really does work. Cleanyourcar say its ph neutral but I can't see it being as effective in a snowfoam as it is in the bottle and when I've used it on the whole of my car the only places I've seen the purple reaction is on the very lower parts of the car and obviously the wheels so not sure it would have any real effect on the rest of the car as part of a snowfoaming exercise. My concern would be what effect it coud have on your LSP but have no evidence to support my misgivings
