i have just been checking my oil in my fabia vrs... but discovered a hose that wasn

Just had a look at mine, it connects into the black (air) box, on that connector with the half sleeve round it. As for what it's for, I've no idea.

It deffo attaches to the airbox! I think is how it SHOULD look.

edit: And that gubbins is all do with the vacuum system, or similar. :confused:

I took my car in to the dealer to get the ecu replaced last week, but i dunno where the ecu of the car is? They might have taken it off and forgot to replace it.....

They shouldn't have to remove the airbox pipework to shift the ECU off, but they could have knocked it off. I don't know what having that hose come unattached would do though? See that shiny metal thing behind the pipe in my photo and yours? Thats the ECU What it looks like when detached

It makes no odds if it isnt attatched. The valves in the black box on the o/s turret (the N75 and EGR valves) require a atmostpheric referance feed. It feeds from the airbox just because its filtered.
