Anyone fitted fog lights to an E spec Yeti?

Featured Replies

Hi All,

As above really, anyone tried to fit Fog Lights to an E Spec Yeti, everything seems to be there apart from the bulbs & switch.

Thanks Paul J.

As of end 2012, only 120 E spec Yetis had been registered in the UK, so the pool of expertise is not large here; there may be more outside the UK of course.

At a guess, you might need some VCDS coding as well as the switch and bulbs.

I've never seen an E spec.  Any chance of a picture of the front?

It looks exactly the same as any other "bug eye", just that the fog element of the light doesn't work. As the OP says everything is there other than the bulb. I presume there is a blanking plate fitted in it's place.

As has been said it will probably need some VCDS work doing and certainly a switch, but it might be possible to use the normal light switch.

From looking through the fog light glass (plastic) there seems to be dummy bulbs in place, i will investigate at some point over the weekend.

Thanks for the responses so far.

Ah, that explains it, thanks Graham.
