Lock/Unlock switch does nothing - what have I switched off ?

Featured Replies

The Lock/Unlock switch does nothing - what have I switched off ?

The switch at the front of the driver and front passenger door (With open/closed padlock) - when I stop all the doors are locked.

They can be opened from inside but, not from the outside.

What setting have I messed up ?

Sounds like you've enabled anti hijack.

Do you hear them lock above 10mph?

Yes - but, I expected to be able to press the switch to the unlock position and all the doors would unlock ?

Which it will when stationary.

The switch doesn't respond :wonder:

Dead switch maybe?  Does it unlock if you double crank the handle?

When I open either front door using the handle - the other one is unlocked BUT, not the rear doors or hatch/tailgate

Check all doors & boot are fully closed.

Might be worth getting a vcds scan done

I have figured this out - you need to press and hold the switch for a count of 3 and then it unlocks/locks
