Hi.

 

I get this error P0402 on my Fabia 2000 1.4 16V.

 

My Mechanic want to change the EGR valve.

 

I have search and found this guide:

I will like to try that but i am not sure i can reset the the EGR valve with a cheap ODB scaner:

Is it a job normal people can do. Or do it require a mechanic. Do I need a VCDS ?
