My commute is 3 miles on an uncongested country lane/B road,18 motorway miles followed by a final 2 mile dual carriageway stretch. It takes me about 35 mins and in the Fabia 1.6tdi I am averaging 60/61mpg. What can I expect from the Citigo when we get it in march? In particular I'd be really interested to hear from owners with a similar commute.

That's similar to my commute. I get between 53-62mpg depending on how late I am for work

Sounds good Mark. It seems that I will enjoy similar mpg to the diesel Fabia whilst enjoying a slightly cheaper fuel.

As you must have seen my post on mpg. I can say with that kind of commute you should get mid 60s.

With my 1.9tdi Octavia I was always getting around 59+ mpg. My Citigo is 68+ mpg on the way to work which is 90% empty country roads for 13 miles

It all depends on driving style, you should see 60mpg.

Looks like my driving style is a bit too aggressive then, lol. To be fair when I take it a little easy I've seen low 60s before.
