LED's in interior front light cluster

Featured Replies

Just noticed thst in my Eligance I have 2 LED's shinning down onto my gear stick at night is this standard across the range or only on DSG it looks cool to me and put one more smile on my face for driving a mk3 Octavia.

It's on my manual vRS, not sure about other models but it might well be as the vRS is missing some of the spec of the Elegance.

Submarine lighting - I love it - wished the Mk2 had it - so glad the Mk3 has..

Skoda finally allowed to have a bit more Golf equipment.....shame they still cant extend this to standard vanity mirror and footwell lighting on models with standard light assistant

Have these submarine lights on my Elegance too

Vrs standard equipment also

@pipsyp, the foot well lights is just a SUK thing. Other countries get it and cheaply too (11e). I have them on my VRS.

Foot well lights? Not on my Elegance as far as I can see. Pitty not more LED's around the car in footwell and door hands would look nice.

I have these on my Elegance but found them to be just that little bit bright so I stuck a stip of of red cellophane over them and that dimmed then down a bit and they are red so makes it less intrusive ....

2  lights standard on my SE TDI :)

Are we talking about the lights on the underside of the door mirrors or LED's inside the car foot wells (uk spec' cars) as my uk spec car seems to only have the lights on the under side of the door mirrors though it being a Elegance it looks good as the mirrors fold in and out and with the lights on or am I just a sad old git !!!!

The post is about the two little leds right next the front interior light. They smoothly enlighten the gear stick area

shame it took this long to get this feature

shame the Mk2 didn't get them as it is something I miss

Thats because currently (until the L&K is out) the Elegance is the highest trim level on the Octavia, then there is the vRS, which is based more on a sportier theme.... but it therefore looses some spec.

Škoda have actually had it for 12 years.... it was a std feature on the MKI Superb (not sure if it was all trim levels or just the Comfort and higher?)

Yes it would be nice for the Octavia to have all the toys that their flagship model has..... BUT you have to expect a lower model to have less spec.

Currently the MKIII Octavia has items that is only available on an Octavia.... because it is a brand new model, I would expect when the Superb MKIII is announce then it will again have more toys than what is available on any other model.
