I have a set of genuine Skoda roof bars for my Mk1 but i want an actual roof rack, ie a metal/plastic tray type thing to put suit cases etc onto it and bungee it down.... everytime i put roof rack into either ebay or google all i get is bloody roof bars !!!!

 

I don't want a roof box just a metal or plastic lattice type item that i can bolt or clamp onto my roof bars... oh and my car is not an estate. Anybody done something like this ?

Think you may have to get a rack that attaches to the roof bars something like ebay item no 160974454982

yep, found that yesterday..... looks ideal, just what i need. I will measure up and if its ok then i will order it. Better than a box because then i don't need to store it afterwards.
