Did some coding

Featured Replies

Did some coding today using a local independent's VCDS got 2 of the 4 changes I wanted to do OK, am now hooked on trying to get everything just the way I want, what are peoples opinions, should I get a copy of VCDS to do this myself or do you play a bit and then it stays in the cupboard most of the time?

Mine stays out the cupboard.  It gets used by me for more than just faults and coding.

Once the. car is coded the way you want it it's then only used for fault code reading and coding other peoples cars.

OK, bit the bullet and got a copy (think I want to play a bit) so if the powers that be want to add me into the list of people that have it feel free

May be worth noting though that although I work in IT I will have to learn how to make this thing work.

Though if you are happy to be a test person and want something coded then we can learn together
