New company car advice

Featured Replies

I got a slightly used 2.0 TDI DSG Elegance, on account that there were no vRS TDI available at the time, Sept/Oct time. Did pick one that was well speced, xenons, leather, electric seats, lane assist, park assist, auto lights and wipers.

I'm more than pleased, I've had 5.8l/100km on a motorway run when I didn't go too far over the limit, so economy can be had if you're careful with the right foot.

Having just spent 8 years driving on the Autobahn, the top end performance is ok and reasonably quick in Sport mode and realistically if your not on the Autobahn are you going to use that top end performance.

I would advise runnning-in in Sport mode, with a diesel as it will help give full boost on acceleration.

All in all, I think I made the right choice.

Sorry Pipsyp thought you had company car with fuel provided

1) Octavia VRS hatch manual diesel

2) Superb L&K hatch manual

3) BMW 320d touring manual diesel (boring!!!)
