Not a bad idea, but why install additional headlights?

I did change all the headlight bulbs for 55W HID when i had it. The wiring is only 1 carats, that's why the halogens are horrible bad. Also why you need new wiring directly from the battery. But then it's pretty straight forward. Remove front bumper and headlights, then install ballasts with HID bulbs etc. Adjust and enjoy. You would only need to remove the CANBUS check for the headlights to get rid of the annoying BEEP sound which will appear after.

Up to you of course. I guess it's easier to install new lamps.

By they way... you forgot the picture with the new lamps installed. :-)

Hi Cown,

Fitting HID in to an existing projector lamp is not street legal in India. But many people do and manage to pay penalty whenever traffic cops stop them in city. Whereas separate HID can be used only in outdoors where there are no traffic from opposite side. So i am trying to use this lamp only in six lane highways or in country side road where there are no traffic from opposite side.  I have not fitted the lamps yet, that's why i posted the query requesting people to suggest how to fit it...

Thanks for replying..

cheers...
