Leon Cupra full leather seats for mk1 fabia

Featured Replies

I bought these seats to replace the octavia vrs ones I have in my fab as I thought they'd be heated, but unfortunately they aren't. So I've converted them to fit the fabia and they are now for sale!

There is a small cigarette burn on the base of the rear double seat (which I was a bit p1ssed to off about as I didn't realise til I got them home), but it's small and on the rear so fairly inconspicuous, and there's the odd SLIGHT mark here and there, as you'd expect from a 10+ year old set of seats, no other rips, holes, burns etc though. That aside they're in quite good condition!

I've had the top of the rears professionally upholstered with nice black leather to correct the mis-alignment of the head rest holes. They fit in nicely and operate as any standard fabia seats should, the fronts have adjustable lumbar support and the drivers has working height adjustment.

I've cleaned them up as best as I can with the limited cleaning products I have, but they could probably do with a decent leather clean and condition if I was being picky.

I think it depends on the set really, pretty sure these went for around £400. But if you wanted say the SE leathers they are a bit pricer, on here they've sold for £650, on ebay I've seen them for around £800.

Jack M depends what you are prepared to invest in time and money, you can fit practically any seats to your car with the right patience and parts.

I'm extremely happy with the comfort of the Recaros.

I may have underestimated slightly what it cost, its cost slightly sub £100 in TOTAL, but I guess I was lucky because my car is only 7 years old and the seats were almost perfect so I got £150 back just for them, partly re-funding the changeover.

That was with me carefully waiting for the right donor std Fabia seats to come about, after having already bought the mk4 Recaro set for just over £200.

To be honest though I think that was only a bargain because its not your everyday colour combination in leather (yell/blk) but that suits my car perfectly.

Cost me a week or two of my time adjusting them to fit by combining the standard and the recaro frames etc.

A lot have gone for the cheaper more common Audi TT seats, and its all very similar bodgery to get them fitted. So just because you see a mint set and they aren't Fabia doesn't mean you can't fit them its just down to your attitude to getting it to work.

Yeah these went for £400. Like domino said though if you take the sale of the standard vrs seats (if that's what you have) into account, then 250 is not bad for leather. I think domino did strike quite lucky with them Recaros though (prob down to the colour like you said), as I was looking for some black ones before Christmas and didn't want to pay over 200. So I let a few sets go for just over that aswell (220,250etc) but now I really want some and I'm struggling to find a decent set for under 300.

£400 was good IMO! My standard seats are in decent condition which I will sell on!

I was willing to pay for them since I couldn't be arsed doing the conversion / time and effort!

Still haven't driven the car with them in, been out since 7amthis morning and just got back in but not in my car. Will get some decent pics tomorrow, be good to see them in day light ;)

You'll LOVE the cold mornings ha ha!! Certainly wakes you up anyway ;-)

£300 though eh Dan ;-)

I dont own a vRS and have a set of polo 9n3 seats at the minute, the problem i have is that i dont have the knowledge at the minute to start chopping and welding seats, plus im still young so living at my parents and have no storage space as well as the fact that i dont want my dad getting involved with my car, i dont need anything show standard or heated etc, just a nice set of seats that suit my car. Thanks for all the posts :)

Just put the seats in. Direct fit aren't they ?

I'm looking to get sportier seats in my Fabia SE. I decided I dont like the hard ride of a fabia vRS, but love the paddle shifts and the seats. If you guys are looking to sell your fabia vRS seats, or any that fit a fabia 2011 please keep me in mind. Thanks

D
