How do you post a dashcam videos in a thread?

Featured Replies

As per the title. I've had a go butcould only see how to paste the link from youtube so there was no picture showing with the play button which is then a PITA for anyone wanting to have a look.

Cheers

If you post the link from YouTube (from the header, so the full internet location of the vid) the forum should convert it to a preview screen you can watch without leaving Brisky.

On it's own line works best.

I think the limit is two or three vids per post, before it reverts to leaving the links. (IIRC)

click share video on YT

copy shortened link and paste into here, fingers crossed it should work

Thanks both. I'm on a tablet at the mo so can't get either to work (might be me tho !) So I'll have a play when I log on via my pc

I've always found that copying the link from the address bar and then pasting the link into word on the menu bar works for me.

Ade

Just find the SHARE button on YouTube.

Once u click that it will show u a much SHORTER link

(Than the internet link it is on).

Copy this shorter link and paste to forum

and it will display the YouTube video/pic for u

(And plays within the forum too)
