On my sons 1.9TDi comfort there is a jolt at the front end on acceleration - the steering and brakes perform as they should.

When parked there is some movement in the front wheels - forwards and back not side to side.

 

The car is 03 plate with 110k miles.

 

Any ideas - my thought was bushes -

Wishbone/console bushes possibly

 

You won't know until you get it on a lift or jacked up and have a look, maybe even take the wishbones out and check them.
