Sparkly's Daily Bargain

Featured Replies

I know you all laugh at me for posting offers and general bargain hunting.

..........................but I don't care so................

Just been to Asda in Oldham and they have Wonder Wheels Universal Wheel cleaner at £2.00 for 500ml down from £5.00.

I grabbed a couple of bottle for my own use, might be a nice one for others to pickup cheap if this covers all Asda's

Also their Noodle washmitts are £2.00 :)

I keep expecting to see a green Fabia stacked to the rafters with microfibre towels every time I go to ADSA Halifax...

Keep your eyes open, it will happen

My car is often parked at asda but I've got enough microfibres to sink a ship so won't be buying anymore for a while.

On the subject of Microfibres, I bought some Purple Monsters from CYC in Slaithwaite.

Awesome!

I've also been looking at the purple monster towels, have you had chance to try them sparkly?

Yup, they are fantastic quality, I took three small ones for buffing off LSP's and they are gorgeous, real heavyweight soft microfibre, used them a couple of times now and after a non-bio wash and cool cycle in the tumble dryer they are like new, if not better.

I'm eyeing up a drying towel as an alternative to a wooly mammoth.

I'd suggest anyone get their hands on some before word gets around more and they go out of stock.

Better than a Woolly Mammoth?

Surely it can't be done!!

This I've got to see!!!!

I didn't say that Chris.

Quite the opposite I have been lusting after getting myself a CG woolly mammoth or even Beluga as my next drying towel upgrade from my current miracle dryers.

But given how happy I am with the small Purple Monster towels, I was just saying I was thinking of getting a Large Purple Monster instead.

The only bad word I have heard on the WM is that it can be a bit weighty/hard to manage when wet, but far from knocking it I was saying i want one.

I'm gonna order some large purple monster towels, heard nothing but good things about them now.

Could be tempted for WM too.

Chemical guys beluga drying towel is very good it's massive in size compared to the wooly mammoth (which I also use)

cheers for the heads up- I hope it's ph neutral and not one of those horrible acidic types. I'll stick with Billberry Wheel Cleaner ta, but good luck.

I recon chris has got a load of spin dryers in his garage he wants to shift   The wooly mammouth is the dogs - it does get heavy because it holds so much. I don't bother wringing it out once it's full and just swap to anothe MF towel to finish off and stick em all in the washing machine on a spin when I've finished

Cant say for sure it's ph neutral, but it's a cheap middle of the road wheel cleaner designed to be safe even on damaged rims. Never seen evidence of it harming any of my alloys and does a decent job.
