I normally carry the messy loads as big loads it seems, so seats folded down to fit everything in. I just use an old blanket to keep the boot clean but boot liners look a smart option.  All the ones I've seen are for the standard , rear seats up, boot. Is there a liner for the seats down area?

Nope.

Rhinomats will make them for you.

Most companies like rhino or hatchbag have options to have Velcro down the corner behind the seat so when you drop the seats the liner goes with them. You can also spec splits so you can use the 60/40 split seat and extensions so they cover all the seats when the seats are dropped.

Trouble with ones that attach with velcro is that if you take them out frequently they make a mess of the interior trim that they're velcro'd too.

True but I meant the seam in the corners behind the seats is Velcro so can be undone to cover the seat when folded flat or as a normal boot liner the rest of the time.
