Polishing plastic (minor damage to intrument panel)

Featured Replies

I'm sure I remember a while back on this forum someone recommended a "wonder product" which did an excellent job of polishing out small scratches in transparent plastic.  My recollection is that someone had managed to damage the plastic screen in front of their instrument panel, and they reported very good results with the product suggested.

Finding myself now in a similar position, but being unable to locate that earlier thread, I wonder if anyone can remember the product in question?

Thanks, looks like that was the stuff since it turns up a few times on the forums.  Is it the KR-70 kit that you use?

(A word of warning: some of the things that turned up when I Googled "micro mesh" were definitely not safe for work!)

You got it my friend - good luck!!

ok googled it, with one of the other choices as well, would be an incentive to finish the polishing perhaps :giggle:
