  • Well...challenged the Gods of Nature and decided to fit the Neptune's. Scrubbed up the wheel arches and brakes then a coat of ceramic sealer on the Calipers. Here we are:

  • I'm very glad you posted this.  I mean no offence, as obviously tastes vary, but until seeing it on silver in your photo,I was set on getting that colour.  I agree with Chris that it's a bit too dark

  • Managed to get these in the dark and rain:

Interesting, think will have to try some, I had also been looking at the Wolfs Chemicals Nano Wheel Protection product as a maybe and had wondered how Abyss would do on Alloys.

Might not go to quite those lengths as I don't know if I need mine bullet proof :D

As said..it was OTT ...should make cleaning them a doddle and less brake dust sticking hopefully

Ceramic Sealers are the way to go on Alloys though

I'm tempted to get all new badges for my car, would those wheel caps on yours fit my Annapurnas chris?

  • Author

Yes. Universal fitment, but tight first fit

Great, did you just get all the badges and wheel caps from a skoda dealer?

  • Author

Wayne got me the front badge, dealer the rear...Alan the wheel ones for Xmas

Oh right, I'm sure they should all be available as parts from official dealers wouldn't you say?

  • Author

They are . Yes

I'm not sure, apart from the wheel ones, what the correct size would be for the Yeti though

Thanks chris, something I can look into.

You need to pull it onto to road to get a better pic, the light is not shining on them to get the true effect of the new finish

Another day perhaps

Would tend to agree..... poor light or camera don't do the refurb/finish any justice. Shame...

Ha! Ha!

Beading still looking great chris!

They do look great! I had that finish on my Fabia a while ago. Loved the different depths between light and dark!

Oh yes - i do like that sir!!!!

They look very similar to factory I think? Nice, although I don't really like silver wheels on the octavia.

They are nothing like OEM colour

They are powdercoated Black, then chrome/silver on the faces

I have black Winter Alloys...but they don't look as good as these

Ok.

They look a shade darker to me mate! I'm sure they're lovely in person.

Yes..They are meant to be.
