  • Well...challenged the Gods of Nature and decided to fit the Neptune's. Scrubbed up the wheel arches and brakes then a coat of ceramic sealer on the Calipers. Here we are:

  • I'm very glad you posted this.  I mean no offence, as obviously tastes vary, but until seeing it on silver in your photo,I was set on getting that colour.  I agree with Chris that it's a bit too dark

  • Managed to get these in the dark and rain:

Cracking colour chris

Looks good Chris

They look awesome added to wish list

I had been contemplating finishes for my Neptunes as they need refurbing after the winter - Can't wait to see these actually on your car Chris - they look fantastic.

Neither can I.....But it will have to wait till the temperatures get consistently higher

Mid March possibly

Very Nice Chris, Thought you ran Conti's not Goodyear.

How do you rate the Goodyears?

Did they remove the tyres when doing the wheels or just break the bead and If so do they re-balance them ?

  • Author

I still do

Just changed the rear two on these alloys

Not impressed with the Conti's in terms of wear

I only got 7K out of the front ones...Rear are still OK

So haven't driven on the Eagle F1's yet....they get good reviews and were only £98 each from Camskill

Wow

Very happy indeed!!

They look absolutely fantastic in the pics, Chris!

Love to do mine - but spent a whole lot on Audrey already these 2 months :-(

The wheel specialist are very good I have used the one in Manchester before. They are on the more expensive side but if you look out for offers then that makes the price more reasonable.

They remove the tyres and refurb the full wheel.

The new style badges rearly work with the colour too mate. Be good to see them on the car with the new bonnet and boot badges too

They look stunning now. Great finish :)

The final coat of Carbon Collective Ceramic Sealer is going on today

What an easy and lovely finish it gives to the already shiny alloys

No buffing, just apply sparingly with a make up remover pad and a very light wipe with a MF towel

It promises 2 years of protection as well, although, as they come off in November, they will be redone during the winter again

just apply sparingly with a make up remover pad

and just how long have you been wearing make up Chris

Is there something your not telling us

Shhhush   :giggle:

They look cracking Chris. Tried to get my boss to do the same on our MK3 RS, personally would have set the Pictoris wheels off lovely against the black....... but it's sold :wall:

10 out of 10

They look awesome

Cant wait to get them on now.....I might have a trial fit when/if it dries out a bit

knowing my luck id curb one within ten min of having them back on! lol

Those look just like mine, except mine have brake dust on the inside to blacken it....

Hey Chris,

Is this your wheel sealant? http://www.bearswaxfactory.co.uk/carbon-collective-platinum-wheels-748-p.asp

My Gigaro's are due a pampering before they go back on the car and I'm keen to try something other than Colli 845 which is what I have used until now.

Not really trialled that many wheel waxes or sealants and had been looking at Gtechniq, C5, Nanolex and Gyeon Q2 Rims as a purchase but this sound's very good

It is....Its really really easy to apply as well

The interesting thing, was the make up remover pad after an hour....It had gone rock hard!!

I put on Two coats of CC, two days apart, then a coat of Wolfs Body Wrap on, then a coat of Hellshine Abyss ....2 hours apart

VERY OTT but satisfying

Those look awesome mate, really impressed with the look.
