More warning lights

Featured Replies

Octavia 2007 Tdi Vrs estate. Few days ago I heard a rattle from rear offside

wheel, turned out to be the dust plate behind the disc had parted company. It

was removed carefully. No damage done to brake lines or sensors.

The ABS warning light, together with tyre pressure, and traction control warning lights have remained on.

By resetting, the tyre pressure, and traction control lights have gone out, but ABS remains on. However, if I turn engine off, leave for a few minutes, start

engine and drive a few yards they all come back on again.

Christmas is well over, and I don't need all these lights on, any help would be appreciated.

Could have damaged abs sensor in the wheel.

ABS sensor error, probably rear left. I bet they dissapear when you drive under 30mph then come back on above it?

You'll need a new hub to replace the rusty magnetic ring probably. If you're lucky it won't have damaged the sensor.

I want a prize if I'm right.

If it's the hub get the disk stone guard done at the same time, they're cheap but expensive to get done unless the hub is coming off anyway. They oxidise and come loose on the bolts.
