Pretty much decided

Featured Replies

All things being equal, off to dealers next week to place an order to replace the 1.8 elegance MKII

Elegance hatch

1.4 manual

Bi-Xenon headlights with AFS
Cornering front fog lights with black surrounds
Taillight assemblies with diodes (LED)
Heated front seats
Space saver spare wheel
AMI

Still undecided about colour. Either

Metal Grey

        or

Brilliant Silver

Nice spec, but aren't you ordering a mkIII? (Sorry I couldn't resist :) )

My vote would be the new metal grey, think it will suite the car better; my thoughts anyway.

Oh the black corner fog should be part of the xenon pack.

Yes, just pops up as a separate item on the configuration tool.

Dread to think when it'll be delivered though.

Would have thought a petrol TSI hatch would be one of the quicker ones to come through, although it will depend on the availability of the parts for your options.

Our SE 150 4x4 with a few options has taken 15 weeks exactly from day of order to Grimsby port arrival; 4x4 are currently second to the vRS on long lead times I'm led to believe.

Shouldn't be too long. 23/11/13 I ordered my 1.4tsi Elegance Hatch, with a few extras; DSG; sun roof; xenons; heated seats and canton. Dealer rang this week to say build is complete and delivery to the dealer should be 2- 3 weeks. Looking at 12 weeks including the Christmas shut down. The dealer has telephoned every week to keep me updated. For members information my dealer told me they receive updates from Skoda every Tuesday.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but from the recent Skoda Supply Update. Week 2

Ok it says except Octavia & Superb but it doesn't bode well.

All Models - TSI Engines Restricted in January
We will have a restriction on TSI engines in January, excluding Octavia and Superb. Therefore build weeks may slip backwards because of this. The issue is down to the low capacity of components. This is likely to last throughout January also.

Thats ok, I've got BW6 ie. February.

OP, you missing the DSG saving you £75 p.a. in road tax and a far smoother drive but, each to their own I suppose.

Regards
