looking for upgrading my clutch...spoke to my local garage and he spoke to their supplier and they reckoned a standard replacement is tested over 300bhp....he getting back to me on torque.

Anyone recommend a sports clutch and if you need to get a dual mass fly wheel...or get a single one

Sachs SMF or a Helix SMF is the only way to take 300bhp

A DMF wouldnt cope with 300bhp

I only talking about a remapped one... more concern about the torque...mine should be around 280lbft

why have i seen that smf can be noisy ie chatter ? i would have thought if balanced would be quieter than a dmf ?

Dmf is two pieces to dampen the noise. A solid piece of metal instead results in noise, the lighter the louder it is

Because there is no "give" in the solid flywheel to dapen the vibrations like there is in a dmf
