Columbus information status bar

Featured Replies

On the left of the status bar it shows the driving mode normal eco etc. useful to kmow but what would be more useful, would be the road name you are on, this is shown, when you turn off the ignition.

Even when in navigation with ignition on, the road name is not shown - is there a setting I have missed?

Tick the box for split screen then the one for compass and the road name and numder will be under the digital compass . Any help ?

You also get the name of the road you are on on the maxidot on the navigation screen

Look on page No:63 ish of the good book about Colubus.

One thing thats not their is can we list the traffic info by location to car i.e nearest first and not by road number unless we have ruote planner active? My Garmin did this and gave in what direction and distants the proplem was and Tom Tom may be the same.

Another problem I've experienced is with postcodes.......after you've entered one you don't have the option to enter a house number, which you always could on the units fitted to the mk2 superbs.

I feel this is quite a short coming!!!

Views please.

Agreed, very odd that house numbers are available if you navigate to a street, but not to a postcode. Especially as it worked on the previous RNS-510 Columbus.

Sent from my phone so please excuse brevity and spelling

Thanks for all the responses. May be we need a thread 'What would improve the Columbus' .There seems to be a number of areas where it is lacking in comparision to the old one.
