brokers4cars.co.uk fabia limited edition

Featured Replies

Brokers4cars.co.uk appear to be offering the fabia se limited editions at ridiculously cheap prices. I'm talking about the £8995 1.2 htp hatchback and the £9995 1.2 tsi estate which they're offering at £7646 and £8486.

Is this genuine? Anyone have any experience of this outfit? There are some very old (over 10 years) references to them on the hj website and some very glowing reviews on reviewcentre.com (which I don't know whether to trust)

They claim all money is handled by a main dealer.

I suspect its an auto generated price that is not in practice available.

If its genuine however, then i just spent over £1000 too much (doh!), but i would consider buying another fabia at this low price. Any comments??

Edit:

Company behind this outfit seems to have poor financials

Though that may not be too important if the money is paid direct to dealer.

One of the directors appears to be a relative (son?) of the original Gary Bain who ran the outfit a long time ago.

Look at carfile.net

They are genuine - deal is done through a main dealer, paid on delivery

Cracking prices, but mostly offered on the more expensive variants

Unfortunately carfile.net dont offer the limited edition, making me think this is a dealer only deal. Closest they offer is a (non metallic/no spare tyre) SE estate at £10762.

DrivetheDeal havent offered Skodas for a long time. I think Skoda UK got heavy with dealers working with them.

I spoke to the drive the deal dealer and basically they stopped using them because skoda kept improving their sales targets.

As a consequence of using drive the deal they sold a shed load of cars, smashed their sales targets and got big bonuses as a consequence to offset the minimal margin they got from reducing the prices.

However the next year skoda simple improved their targets which would impact their bonus performance. So they couldn't afford to sell at minimal margin and get low bonuses.
