Looking at a 61 plate on Saturday in black. Wanted blue but the pvt seller I was talkig to has gone silent. Black is good too though so I am looking forward to joining the SKODA owners list. Have been a big SEAT fan and still am but this is going to be my "sensible" car........

My recent (non-Skoda) cars have given dashboard warnings when the battery in the key fob runs down. This gives the driver the opportunity to change the battery and to keep the key functional. The battery in my Superb's key fob recently ran down, and it went from fully operational (working the button "plip" as well as the keyless entry) to completely flat during the course of a day at work. No warnings were displayed. I was unable to plip the car open, and had to walk to a shop, purchase a ne

Hi folks, I'm finding the steering feel of the Superb somewhat lifeless, vague and far too light. Looking for your help to see what I can do to improve it Having owned 3 other VAG's (2 x Golf R's and 1 x Golf Alltrack) I'm used to the lack of steering feedback however, the Superb is the worst so far. Very confused and apologies if covered elsewhere but can't find it... looking to get a towbar fitted for caravan towing and an independent towbar company is warning about coding and about the rear emergency braking kicking in and not letting me reverse with the caravan in place. Another has said they can fit a towbar but I'd need to take it to a dealer to get it coded. I've contacted my local skoda dealer and they've quoted £1900 for a towbar to be fitted!!
