Hi Folks

Didn't think that this bothered me but I'm lying it does.

I have fitted a columbus and Bluetooth and mdi to my 09 ltd edition Vrs it all worked apart from when music streaming from my iPhone 4 I can't control it from the headunit it has to be done via the phone and the other prob as per pic is that there are symbols missing .

The nav also does not show in the mfd .

Had a local member with vcds check with no luck .

Can anyone please help .

Cheers whoosh

Are you streaming via BT or MFD and cable?

Is the BT controller able to work correctly with your phone as not all of them do?

I'm streaming via bt

I dont think you can control the music whilst streaming via BT to the columbus, to get control you must use the full wired MDI kit. With BT as far as I am aware requires control of the music on the handset.

If the NAV isn't showing in the MFD it probably means that the NAV hasn't been ticked as installed in the Gateway installation list using VCDS so the CAN Gateway doesn't know that it needs to look for the NAV.

The NAV will still work fine but will not interact with the rest of the car's electronics.
