Got a vRS estate in Race Blue

 

Am gutted now - I thought Race Blue was reserved for the vRS.  Or did the salesman pull a fast one?

It was..... until they bought the mk3 out. Now you can have a race blue 1.2 if you want. Think sprint yellow and ralle green are the 'new' vRS colours....

Yep Yellow, Green and Meteor Grey are Vrs colours only.

Massive shame. Race blue was my favourite colour; doesn't seem right to have it on a 1.2 etc.

Yup happened to me the other day, saw a Racing Blue Octavia in the distant then on approach realised it wasn't a VRS...... they didn't get a wave (snob I know).

 

Was hoping it was one too so i could have a good look as have just ordered mine and decided to go back to Blue (my MK2 was Racing Blue, my FL is black).

So has anyone got a race blue elegance?.....

here is a race-blue elegance with Eibach lowering and 18" alloy. I got one on my phone of a standard height 17" elegance raceblue from a colleague of mine (not a terrific photo) I ordered that colour as well. (expecting it in may) just a sucker for that colour.. Never intended to offend anyone.
