Think I've blown my turbo :(

Featured Replies

I was on my way to shark in Mansfield and was only about 2/3 miles away when I heard a popping noise , now the car has no power and is chucking out black smoke :( , just got to shark now I'm hoping it doesn't need a new turbo :(

Sounds like my turbo the other week.... did you keep driving it and it didnt seize? it could just be a pipe off.

As above, check a pipe hasn't popped off!

Damn side cheaper.

Good news , shark put it on the ramp and it was a boost pipe , luckily they had a 2nd hand one in ...... So because i had no turbo to pay for she is currently under going a stage 1 re-map :)

When one pipe popped off my wifes A3 with the same engine as the early Labia VRS's, The two pipes on either end of the pancake pipe needed replacing. not mega bux from the dealers.
