Third variable service - what's involved?

My 2010 vRS CR is coming up for its third variable service. I have Googled but can't find anything to say what it involves, so I wonder if someone here could enlighten me, please? The garage have quoted £249.00 plus brake fluid change at £49.00. Does this seem ok?

Any info appreciated.

Sorry, should have said that it's a manual.

    Recently paid £409 for second variable service, oil, filters etc plus brake pads all round on my 1.9TDI 37,000 miles.
