CHEAPEST FABIA VRS OUT THERE?

Featured Replies

when something is this cheap its often too good to be true! But if its legit then its a steal.

I don't think it's too far off the mark with those intergalactic miles and admitted /dis-closed faults tbh.

Got to get things into perspective here.

It's sadly now just about in 'banger' territory...10 years old.

I wouldn't say banger territory at all. Some newer cars can be bangers in the wrong hands. Mileage isnt mega high for a vw diesel engine. It does say comes with service history too. If anything if its had all things at right intervals it should have had all the major parts changed. Faults arent bad things really. Will only find out by viewing though...

Sorry.

Wasn't inferring that 'banger territory' is necessarily bad, just a label that's been attached to cars over a certain age.

I think it's 'Honest John' in the Telegraph, that reckons the average age of a car before scrapping is now down to a mere 7 years, not because they are crap cars particularly, but because they are quite often more expensive to repair than they are worth, and consequently scrapped.

Built in life is however great for the manufactures, dealers and government.

That is true. I think true value comes down to the perception of the potential buyers tbh. Especially on here. Brisky members cars in general are definitely better than the non enthusiastic owners.

Btw I didnt take your post in a bad way :)
