Vics concours wax red

Featured Replies

Anyone have any of this they don't use I really want to try it, could either do a swap or buy it?

If not it means a trip to CYC again.

Not tried myself but only heard very good things.

Say hi to Tim and the guys when you're over in slaithwaite :giggle:

Thanks sparkly, it's your fault I keep spending money on these things and ill never get through what I've got.

I'm gonna put an order in at ishine for all the dodo juice sample pots I think.

You could always wait until I get round to trying one of mine and let you know if they're actually any crack.

Once I've broken the seal on the pot and had my first play you are welcome to borrow one of them to try.

Thanks that's really good of you. Likewise if you need anything I have, which I will get a list of.

Well again thanks to Steve giving me a cracking deal I've saved a bit of cash and can now stop buying waxes for a while.

That's me done for a while, no more tempting anyone!

So when do we get to see the results of this magical product?

Looking forward to a review on such concours type product...

I've had some for a couple of years. Nice as a 'show' wax for me - durability is pretty good, but not in the Collinite division. But the results vs. price are superb, I must say.

A great top-up/summer wax for me, good choice

I've not been well recently, so not had chance to get near the car.

But hopefully soon I will get chance to use it.

Nice to use too. Application and removal easy.

Absolutely - doddle to use and an amazing finish.

If i was being critical i found it a little greasy/oily at times.

...but the results.... were sublime!

Good to hear; glad it wasn't just me then!  :whew:

It needs the oils to aid application

It 'gases out' as it cures

OK Chris. Wasn't sure if it was carnuba level related....

As far as I know Steve...(I could be wrong).....The higher the Carnauba content, the more oils are required

Would make sense that Chris. Might set solid otherwise!
