I think from my understanding build week 7 is this week?!? How long from build does it take to get to me? Any ideas? Thanks

mine was BW4 and although some have had theirs arrive at the dealers mine's still at, or en route from, Grimsby docks. Having seen the weather forecast though your ferry may be able to drop it at your door...   Apologies, couldn't resist it and hope all's ok down there. Looks like a '14' anyhoo, I'd guess first week of March.  Waddya gettin'?

2-3 weeks seems the norm at the moment, however, it all depends on which day your car is built I guess, also you in TW so not far from the port.

Nice one; vRS TDI Combi in black, not my first new motor but it is the first new car I've had for the first of the new reg, not that I was planning it that way as was expecting it early to mid January, look through the threads and you'll see waiting times are a tad longer due to demand etc. Current car from new over 11 years ago so also excited but remaining as calm as a calm thing on a calm day in a sea of tranquillity. For me, it was 18 days from the call to say it was built to driving it off the forecourt.

How long does it take to build the car. Mine was this week so how long do we reckon it will be before its in the uk?

So I've been informed..my car was built 24 Jan 14 (oooohhh a Friday car  , didn't realise till just now ) It arrived in the UK on 10 Feb 14...collecting 1 Mar 14.
